Dhaka Imperial College was established in 1995 with a pledge to impart quality education ensuring non-political and non-smoking environment. In 2012, the college shifted to its permanent campus at Aftab Nagar, Badda, Dhaka, where a large, modern, and attractive college building has been built on 25 Katha of land with spacious classrooms, open corridors, ICT & science laboratories equipped with modern apparatus, special lounges, seminar hall, library, etc. In 2017, the college opened higher education offering B.A. honours courses in English, Bangla & BBA honours in Accounting, Management & Marketing under National University.

The aim of this institution is to make the students competent for future life as well as enlightened citizens. Besides academic skills, we emphasize co-curricular activities to flourish latent talents. The college has earned outstanding reputation in sports (football, cricket, athletics), cultural activities, debate, Science & English olympiads nationally and internationally. Continuous rise in quality students and glorious results in both HSC and Honours levels bear testimony that we are heading successfully towards our goal of making an enlightened nation.
